Peer Review Policy
JTPST (Journal of Translational Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology) follows a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process.
-
Each manuscript that passes the initial editorial screening is normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area.
-
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on scientific quality, originality, methodological soundness, relevance, clarity, ethical considerations, and overall contribution to the field.
-
The editorial decision may be acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection, taking into consideration the reviewers' recommendations and the manuscript's overall quality.
-
The Editor-in-Chief has the final authority regarding the editorial decision and may consider the recommendations of the reviewers and handling editors.
-
The Editor-in-Chief may seek additional opinions from members of the Editorial or Advisory Board when specialized expertise or further assessment is required.
-
Associate Editors or designated editorial team members may assist with the editorial assessment, reviewer selection, communication, and coordination of the peer-review process.
-
If a manuscript is rejected, authors may submit an appeal by providing a clear and substantive justification addressing the editorial decision. Appeals will be considered by the editorial team, and, where appropriate, the manuscript may be evaluated by an additional independent reviewer. The decision following an appeal will be considered final.
-
Reviewers are expected to maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts, declare any potential conflicts of interest, and provide objective, constructive, and timely assessments.
JTPST reserves the right to modify the peer-review procedure when necessary to maintain the quality, fairness, and integrity of the publication process.
