Submission Preparation Checklist

Authors must confirm as part of the submission process that their manuscript satisfies the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, as non-compliant submissions may be returned to the corresponding author.

  • The manuscript is not currently under review at another journal and has not been published elsewhere previously. If any part of the work has appeared elsewhere (e.g., as a preprint or conference abstract), this must be disclosed in the Comments to the Editor.
  • The manuscript is submitted as an editable Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) file.
  • The document is single-spaced, set in 12-point font, and uses italics (not underlining) for emphasis or scientific names. All figures, tables, and illustrations are placed in-text near their first mention, not grouped at the end.
  • The manuscript's formatting, citation style, and structure follow JTPST's Author Guidelines.
  • DOIs or URLs are included for references where they exist, to support verification.
  • Every author's first name, last name, institutional affiliation, and email address are entered in sentence case during the submission process.
  • Once a manuscript is accepted, no changes (additions or removals) to the author list will be permitted.
  • Authors must suggest at least two potential peer reviewers (name, affiliation, email, and area of expertise) in the Comments to the Editor field.
