Preprints Policy

JTPST accepts manuscripts that have previously been posted as preprints on recognized public preprint servers, authors' websites, or institutional repositories. Posting a preprint does not constitute prior publication and will not affect the manuscript's consideration for publication.

Authors should retain copyright when posting their manuscripts as preprints and should ensure that the preprint's licensing terms do not prevent subsequent publication in JTPST.

Authors must disclose any preprint posting, including the preprint DOI and applicable license, at the time of manuscript submission. Once the article is published, authors are encouraged to update the preprint record with a reference to the published article, including its DOI and a link to the JTPST version.
